Long Island NY born artist and founder Rachel L Acevedo, started Strā back in the late 80's in her upstairs bedroom at the age of 17.  Not wanting to go to a 4 year college, Rachel decided to take her chances at a trade school to further her interest in art, building and design.  Graduating at the top of her class she earned her Associates degree in Architecture/Drafting. She then went on to work at some of the most accomplished landscape design and interior design companies before starting her own business.  Realizing Long Island was no longer serving her souls purpose, she decided it was time for a change and moved to the great state of Texas in 2020 where Strā will begin again.
